Handprint Christmas Wreath

Happy December!!  Can you believe it, only 25 more days until Santa comes!  YAY!

A few days ago, when the hubby and I were home during our long Thanksgiving weekend, as a family we made a Handprint Christmas wreath to hang on our front door.  It turned out so cute and my little peanut *loves* looking at it every time we come or go that I thought I would share it with you:)

We started off by tracing all three of our handprints on green construction paper and then I cut them all out.

While I was cutting out our hands, my little peanut was coloring the paper plate green.  She really didn't need to do this since the handprints would cover the entire paper plate, but it kept her buzy and she loves to color anyways.

I cut out the center part of the plate and then using just Elmer's glue, stuck all of our hand prints along the outside.  I only used one of my hubby's since it was so big, two of mine and about 10 of the little peanuts.  I made sure to glue them on in all different directions so that the fingers would be on both sides of the plate.

Here is the final product - on our front door!  I am in love with it!  I hung it up with some red ribbon I had and then used a red pipe cleaner to make a "bow".
