I went to college and graduated with a Computer Engineering degree - crazy, huh?
However, I am not - like most people may be able to relate to - a Computer Engineer at my day job:) However I do use a lot of what I learned on a daily basis - so much so, that I don't {really} regret my major.
That being said, I would say that I have a little more "techy" knowledge then your average person {or blogger:) }. So I thought it may be helpful for others if I shared some Techy Tips!
Starting next Tuesday, I will share a new tip or trick or answer a techy question {feel free to email me or leave a comment} each week @ Techy Tips Tuesdays.
What do you think? Do you have any HTML questions or a problem with your blog that you just cannot figure out?
good idea !
ReplyDeleteI would like to know why the lettertype I see ' at the back ' while writing my blog is different from the one that shows up at my blog when my blog post is ready?
I'm so glad you are doing this! I have a "blogspot" blog and I would love to figure out how to get more than one picture on a line. (Like putting two pictures side by side).
ReplyDeleteI have awarded you ladies with the Liebster Blog Award!! Come check it out on my Blog today!

YEAH! You know I will be there. Thanks again for helping me with my button code. My main questions have to do with codes and how to put them on the blog correctly.
ReplyDeleteOh, man I'm so glad you're doing this! I am such a blogger/html newbie. I just stole a template from a website for my blog, haha. I'm excited to learn more about it this way!
ReplyDeleteOoh, how awesome of you to share your wisdom! :) I am slowly figuring out HTML stuff but the one thing I can NOT figure out is how to get a menu bar under your title to be your own design rather than doing it through blogger. :/ I'll be sure to come back and see what tips you have! I'm off to tell my bloggy peeps about this too!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. I'll happily be your student...teach me! Hopefully you won't require any Mr. Miyagi {karate kid} type of lessons...wax on, wax off :)

Hey, that sounds like an awesome idea! I'm sure there's LOTS I could learn hehe. I just wing it half the time, but other times, I'm completely stumped :S Great idea and looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteYES, YES! I will be very interested in enJOYing your Techy Tips on Tuesdays. I just retired as an Elementary Teacher turned (self-taught) Computer Teacher/Tech Resource person. The part I loved about the job was that you learned something everyday.
ReplyDeleteHappen to be trying to find this and learned much more than anticipated in this article. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI just signed up to your blogs rss feed. Will you post more on this subject?
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I have questions! :-)
ReplyDeleteNot sure if it's even possible, but do you know if there is a way to have a link to another page in your blog (blogger) without having the page itself published somewhere in the blog itself?
For example: If I write "Click Here For The Pattern"
and the pattern comes up, instead of posting an actual page with the pattern.... does that make sense?
Also, do you know how to show only a "teaser" of your post on the home page with a "click her for more" option, in Blogger? I know there's a way... I just haven't figured it out yet. lol
OK... I have one more for you (hopefully you haven't already posted it and I accidentally missed it... that would just be embarrassing!)
ReplyDeleteI love how you have the link to your Techy Tips on your right sidebar. When I click it, your Tips come up and at the top it says that it is showing all posts with Techy Tips in the labels (or something like that). How do you do that? :-)
