After being stuck inside since early Sunday morning, I just HAD to get out of the house!!
I just drove about a mile into the center of town and found this...
...and to think this is nothing compared to what they are dealing with in Queens and the Jersey Shore!

Thankfully Maryland didn't get the worst of it.There are still tons of downed trees, flooding and damaged homes though. We lost power for about 24 hours but I'm thankful because there are still tons of people here in Maryland without power.:(
ReplyDeleteThe devastation storms can bring makes me realize how vulnerable we all are. There is no telling when one will strike, where it will hit and how bad the aftermath will be. I am glad that you and yours are safe.
