After being stuck inside since early Sunday morning, I just HAD to get out of the house!!

I just drove about a mile into the center of town and found this...

...and to think this is nothing compared to what they are dealing with in Queens and the Jersey Shore!

Before we were married, the hubby and I used to go camping with his family around this time of the year.  One night I was looking back at my old photos and came across this.  We went to the lighthouse in Montauk, climbed to the top and I snapped this picture.  Love how blue the water looks!

Happy 4th of July!!!

This picture was taken last week when my daughter had to wear something red, white and blue to camp.  Unfortunately she can't wear it today since it doesn't fit over her cast:(  At least I was able to get a picture last week!!!

Wordless Wednesday - $hopping $avings:)

My little one passed out real early tonight, so I ran out to three stores to score some great deals!! 

CVS:  Spent $17.87, but have $10 in ECB to spend next time

Stop and Shop:  Spent $9.12

Walgreens: Spent $15.27, but have $12 in RR to spend next time

WOO HOO!!!  I am so excited that I got so many things that I needed and saved a lot of money:)

So while not my typical WW post, I was just too excited that I had to share!

It was a little too chilly this weekend to go swimming in our pool, but we did spend some time blowing bubbles!!  So fun...especially when you use Daddy's cooler as a bench:)

Wordless Wednesday - Memorial Day Weekend

Things have been pretty crazy around here (sick child, long hours at work and a 9 month pregnant sister = ahh!!) - sorry for the lack of posts!

We did have a great Memorial Day weekend thou:)  I ran my second 5K on Monday, we watched both Grandpa and Pop march in our town's Memorial Day Parade (they are volunteer firefighters), got good use out of the BBQ and we spent as much time outside as one can with a 2 year old with an ear infection:(  

Unfortunately, I left my camera home most of the weekend - but I caught my little one helping Grandpa cut the grass with my camera phone:)

Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and a huge THANK YOU to all those who have served for this country!!

We have gone up to Saratoga to the horse track every year since my little one was 6 months old!  She knows some of the jockey's names and LOVES to watch the horses:)  So the Kentucky Derby was a big event for us!!
